DFS Card Issuing Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the growth of the card portfolio by driving issuance, activation, and utilization of debit, credit, prepaid, credit card and virtual card products in line with business targets.
• Coordinate end-to-end card issuance processes, including card production, personalization, activation, renewal, replacement, and delivery to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Analyze card issuance, activation, and transaction trends to identify opportunities for increasing customer adoption, card utilization, and transaction volumes.
• Liaise with branches, customer service teams, and support functions to ensure efficient resolution of card-related issues and delivery of superior customer experience.
• Manage operational relationships with card schemes, card personalization bureaus, and other service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements and quality standards.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including card issuance volumes, activation rates, portfolio growth, transaction volumes, revenue generation, and customer usage trends.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and digital channels teams to implement campaigns and initiatives that promote card acquisition, activation, and ongoing usage.
• Identify and implement enhancements to card issuance and fulfillment processes to improve turnaround times, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost effectiveness.
• Support the implementation and adoption of emerging card technologies and digital payment solutions, including tokenization, mobile wallets, contactless payments, and virtual cards.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and provide business insights to support decision-making, portfolio optimization, and strategic growth initiatives.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Academic & Professional

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking/Finance or equivalent RQ
• Professional Qualifications: Merchant Acquiring and card background AA
• Master’s Degree: Business Administration AA

• Total Minimum No of Years Experience Required- 4 Years
